Principal Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary

To unlock additional commercial analytics and reporting capabilities, the full-time salaried Principal Business Intelligence Analyst will work with complex datasets to derive insights, support data-driven decision-making, and contribute to automation efforts, while collaborating with provider and commercial teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Automate reporting processes and collaborate with engineers to enhance data workflows
• Ensure accuracy in analysis, validate work, and document logic for informed decision-making
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear business narratives for stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data analytics
• Expert-level SQL skills for complex queries and data modeling
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau for building user-friendly dashboards
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and at least one other cloud data warehouse
• Real experience working with healthcare claims data, including understanding of CPT and diagnosis codes
