Principal Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Business Systems Analyst to lead the evaluation of business processes and systems for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional collaboration to gather and manage requirements for software development projects
• Define and document REST API contracts and Kafka event schema specifications
• Create and improve documentation including workflows, specifications, and manuals

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience as a Lead Business Systems Analyst
• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst on platform or data-centric teams
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON payloads, and data modeling concepts
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database fundamentals
• Experience with Agile development and tools like Jira and Confluence
