Recognized as an authority in enterprise procurement value, the full-time remote Principal Business Value Consultant will manage high-stakes value engagements, influence company direction through data-driven insights, and represent Zip to senior external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Set objectives and approaches for critical value engagements, ensuring robust value methodologies are applied
• Influence product prioritization and go-to-market strategies using evidence from realized outcomes and customer economics
• Develop value fluency across the organization by coaching teams and establishing high standards for execution

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in procurement, source-to-pay, or enterprise finance transformation
• Proven track record in business value, value engineering, or strategic finance with the ability to influence senior executives
• Expertise in building defensible economic models and navigating complex, ambiguous problems
• Experience in coaching and developing others to raise quality standards within the organization
• Sound judgment regarding AI-assisted analysis and its application in business contexts
