Principal CAD Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal CAD Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings for bridge projects using CAD software
• Collaborate with other Designers/Drafters and Engineers to ensure design accuracy
• Manage the assembly and delivery of completed drawing sets within the bridge discipline

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical certificate from an accredited designer/drafter program
• 10+ years of relevant experience in bridge structural drafting and design
• Proficiency with Bentley tools, including MicroStation, ProjectWise, and OpenBridge Modeler
• Ability to interpret and ensure conformance to applicable standards such as AASHTO and state DOT CAD standards
