Principal Category Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Category Manager to manage sourcing strategies and supplier relationships for designated categories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned category and develop overall category strategy to improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
• Lead execution of category strategy through preferred supplier lists and regular business reviews with suppliers
• Research and communicate industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and increased productivity

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in category management or commodity management
• Experience managing contracts
