Principal Clinical Data Associate

Job Summary

Responsible for data review and support to the Lead Data Manager, the full-time remote Principal Clinical Data Associate will coordinate complex studies, manage the work of other Clinical Data Associates, and ensure compliance with departmental procedures.

Key responsibilities:

• Coordinate and review data management activities for assigned studies, including discrepancy management and data quality control
• Provide input on database design, author documentation, and conduct user acceptance testing for clinical data systems
• Run and report on study metrics, maintain clean patient trackers, and actively participate in sponsor meetings

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum of 4 years direct data management experience in a pharmaceutical development, CRO, or clinical research environment
• Working knowledge of clinical research best practices preferred
• Experience in authoring and maintaining study-specific training materials and documentation
• Ability to provide training and mentoring to other Clinical Data Associates
