Principal Clinical Data Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Principal Clinical Data Manager will oversee data management tasks from study start-up through database lock for clinical research projects, ensuring data quality and leading a team of Clinical Data Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data management tasks for mid-to-large complex clinical research projects, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
• Lead and train a team of Clinical Data Managers while promoting efficient operations and sharing best practices
• Consult with management to assist in project-specific training and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5 years in clinical data management
• Thorough knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and clinical research regulations
• Experience leading project teams and strong technical leadership skills
• Expertise in clinical trial databases and applications, with a willingness to learn new technologies
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, capable of mentoring and managing multiple project priorities
