Principal Cloud Architect

Job Summary

Serving as a senior technical authority, the fully remote Principal Cloud & DevSecOps Architect will own end-to-end cloud architecture and DevSecOps strategy, drive platform initiatives, and provide hands-on technical leadership to engineering teams across federal delivery programs.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to technical solutioning for proposals and participate in client-facing discussions
• Define cloud architecture and DevSecOps strategy, establishing standards and governance aligned with federal compliance
• Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, mentoring engineers, and leading modernization efforts

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, or technical architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with federal proposals and demonstrated ownership of cloud architecture in complex environments
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
