Principal Cloud Architect

Job Summary

Driving the organization's multi-year cloud transformation vision, the full-time remote Principal Cloud Architect will establish cloud governance frameworks, lead large-scale cloud migration programs, and mentor high-performing technical teams while serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate the enterprise cloud strategy aligned with corporate objectives and establish cloud governance frameworks
• Design multi-cloud solutions and lead cloud migration initiatives to enhance scalability and cost efficiency
• Drive organizational change and build internal cloud competencies through mentoring and training programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent advanced work experience
• 12+ years of progressive IT infrastructure, software engineering, or enterprise architecture experience
• 5+ years of direct management experience leading technical teams with a proven track record in cloud solutions
• Deep expertise in at least two major cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and container orchestration technologies
