Principal Cloud Architect

Job Summary

Leading cross-functional teams in a remote capacity, the full-time Principal Cloud Architect will design, implement, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and OCI, while developing long-term cloud strategies that ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Provides strategic and technical oversight in developing and managing multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance and partnering with Cybersecurity
• Designs and oversees the implementation of service offerings for platform engineering while serving as a cloud-native technical resource
• Implements secure cloud connectivity solutions and manages disaster recovery plans for cloud outages and incidents

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 15 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in cloud and microservices design and development
• Proven experience with large-scale cloud migrations and hands-on experience with AWS and Azure
• Experience optimizing Kubernetes deployed workloads on cloud platforms and familiarity with AI development tools
• Professional level certifications on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google preferred)
