Principal Cloud Architect (AZ)

Job Summary

Leading cross-functional teams, the full-time remote Principal Cloud Architect (AZ) will design, implement, and optimize multi-cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and OCI, while developing long-term cloud strategies to ensure scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Provides strategic and technical oversight in developing and managing multi-cloud environments, ensuring compliance and scalability
• Designs and develops service offerings for platform engineering, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions
• Serves as a subject-matter expert, offering thought leadership in cloud-native technologies and driving cloud-based innovation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 15 years of software engineering and application modernization experience, with a minimum of 5 years in cloud and microservices design
• Demonstrable experience optimizing Kubernetes workloads on cloud platforms
• Proven experience with large-scale cloud migrations and digital engineering
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms
