Principal Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of infrastructure automation platforms, the full-time Principal Cloud Engineer will manage CI/CD pipelines, design Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies, and build observability tooling in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and enhance infrastructure automation platforms and self-service provisioning workflows across a distributed environment
• Lead the design and validation of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies, including failover design and chaos engineering
• Establish SLOs for core infrastructure services and drive automation to improve platform reliability outcomes

Required qualifications:

• 12+ years of engineering experience, with at least 7 years as a primary architect of infrastructure automation platforms
• Deep production experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tools
• Expertise in CI/CD for infrastructure, including pipeline design and drift detection
• Proven track record in managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery strategies end-to-end
• Hands-on experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing in production environments
