Key Responsibilities

Own database reliability, automation, and performance for the cloud platform
Mentor team members on best cloud operational and engineering practices
Troubleshoot and resolve customer environment issues, conducting root cause analysis

Required Qualifications

8+ years of operational or engineering experience with production database systems
5+ years of experience with enterprise scale Linux Administration
5+ years of hands-on operational experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Deep understanding of PostgreSQL server architecture and administrative tasks
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra
