Principal Consultant, Cybersecurity

Job Summary

Leading complex post-incident recovery engagements, the full-time remote Principal Consultant, Restoration and Remediation will advise clients on restoration strategies, oversee technical execution, and mentor team members while enhancing internal capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recovery operations for cyber incidents, including ransomware outbreaks and large-scale breaches
• Architect and manage technical remediation plans across hybrid infrastructures, ensuring effective user recovery and system hardening
• Advise client executives on remediation strategies and coordinate recovery workstreams across various stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or IT infrastructure engineering
• Proven leadership in enterprise-scale recovery efforts during cyber incidents
• Deep hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, and virtualization platforms
• Ability to architect and execute remediation plans in coordination with cross-functional teams
• Advanced certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCFA, MCSE, OSCP) are strongly preferred
