Principal Consultant - Data Lead
Job Summary
Serving as the senior data leader for Higher Education transformation engagements, the full-time remote Principal Consultant - Data Lead will manage client relationships, oversee project deliverables, and provide hands-on SQL development while advising on data strategy and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements as the primary data and technical point of contact, ensuring satisfaction and value realization
- Provide oversight on project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables while mentoring project team members
- Develop and advise on data strategies, governance frameworks, and integration architectures for Higher Education clients
Required Qualifications
- Significant consulting experience leading complex enterprise data initiatives
- Experience within Higher Education, preferably in Advancement or fundraising
- Strong hands-on SQL development capabilities
- Experience with data migration, transformation, and integration processes
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams
