Principal Core Network Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Core Network Engineer who will provide technical leadership and oversight to the networking team.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate conceptual, logical, and physical network architectures
• Lead the creation of documentation, test analyses, and design strategies for robust architectures
• Research and analyze complex networking problems and recommend solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years' experience in an ISP environment and 7+ years' experience in designing network architectures
• Expert knowledge in routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
• Extensive experience with network hardware, particularly Juniper, Arista, and Cisco
• Advanced industry certifications such as JNCIE or CCIE-SP preferred
