Principal CPA, Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal CPA, Director of Tax (US - Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and uphold quality control standards for client deliverables
• Lead and mentor the tax team, including a senior tax manager and three tax accountants
• Prepare and review business and individual tax returns, along with tax planning documents

Required Qualifications

• CPA with 8+ years of experience, primarily in public accounting
• Experience in client-facing roles and understanding client businesses
• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting platforms and major tax preparation software
• Experience with project management or task management tools
• Strong understanding of accounting rules, regulations, and guidelines
