Principal CPA, Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal CPA, Director of Tax (US - Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and uphold quality control standards for client deliverables
• Lead and mentor the tax team, including preparing and reviewing tax planning documents and returns
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance and track team performance

Required Qualifications

• CPA certification with 8+ years of experience in public accounting
• Experience in client-facing relationships and understanding of various client businesses
• Proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms and major tax preparation software
• Familiarity with project management or practice management tools
• Strong understanding of accounting rules, regulations, and guidelines
