Principal CPA, Tax Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal CPA, Director of Tax (US - Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure quality control standards for client deliverables
• Lead and mentor the tax team, including preparation and review of tax planning documents and returns
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor team performance and ensure compliance with regulations

Required Qualifications

• CPA with 8+ years of experience, primarily in public accounting
• Experience in client-facing roles and familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms
• Proficient with major tax preparation software packages
• Experience using project management or practice management tools
• Strong understanding of accounting rules, regulations, and guidelines
