Principal Cyber Investigator

Job Summary

Leading day-to-day operations for a cyber investigations team, the full-time Principal Cyber Investigator will oversee quality assurance, serve as the senior technical authority on complex cases, and interface with client stakeholders while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the accuracy and efficiency of investigations, ensuring compliance with outlined requirements
• Serve as the senior technical authority, making final determinations on harm potential and offensive uplift
• Monitor quality metrics and implement improvements to investigative processes and detection pipelines

Required qualifications:

• At least 9+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or related fields
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience leading investigative teams and overseeing quality and output
• Deep subject-matter expertise in areas such as ransomware, exploits, or offensive security operations
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and other data languages for querying and validating investigative output
