Principal Cybersecurity Architect

Job Summary

To lead the strategy for identity and access management (IAM) in AI systems, the full-time remote Principal Cybersecurity Architect will define architectural standards, ensure compliance, and oversee the identity lifecycle for AI agents while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary authority on AI identity security, guiding executive leadership and engineering teams
• Oversee the full lifecycle for AI agents, ensuring accountability and traceability while enforcing access control principles
• Represent the organization in external forums and industry discussions regarding AI security standards

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on IAM
• 7+ years in Principal/Senior Architect roles in large-scale enterprise or cloud-native environments
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS IAM and AWS Identity Center
• Proficiency with AI security frameworks like AWS Bedrock Identity/AgentCore
• Expert understanding of Zero Trust architecture and its application to AI workloads
