Job Summary
Leading cybersecurity assurance activities throughout the product life cycle, the full-time Principal Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer will manage risk assessments, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and act as a cybersecurity champion within product development teams while working remotely from the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity assurance activities, including risk management plans, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and elevate major issues affecting patient safety and cybersecurity
- Supervise and mentor other cybersecurity assurance engineers while supporting continuous process improvement and audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher and eight years of cybersecurity and/or cybersecurity risk management experience supporting medical devices
- Experience with embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and related technologies
- Ten years of cybersecurity experience in medical devices is preferred
- Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, such as FDA requirements and ISO standards
- Experience in threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing for embedded systems
