Principal Cybersecurity Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the installation, configuration, integration, and training for COTS cyber products, the full-time Principal Cybersecurity Engineer will provide technical support and documentation while acting as a trusted advisor to key accounts in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering, installation, configuration, integration, and training for Forcepoint COTS cyber products
• Deliver training and on-site support to customers, including troubleshooting and version upgrades
• Architect and lead complex REST API integration engagements across various platforms while mentoring junior engineers

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related field, with 8+ years of cybersecurity experience
• Advanced knowledge of DLP, CASB, SSE, DSPM, and network administration
• Experience with enterprise network architecture, zero trust networking, and hybrid/cloud network security design
• Proficiency in Python, shell scripting, SQL, and XML; expert-level REST API integration experience
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III certification preferred for government-facing engagements
