Principal Cybersecurity Threat Hunter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Cybersecurity Engineer - Threat Hunter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct threat hunting to identify, classify, prioritize, and report on cyber threats
• Research emerging security threats and provide correlation and trending of cyber incident activity
• Formulate methodologies for monitoring, detection, and analytics for security platforms

Required Qualifications:

• Eight or more years working in the cybersecurity industry focusing on threat detection & prevention
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Expert level understanding of security controls, EDR capabilities, and DFIR processes
• Experience creating SIEM correlation logic and conducting security threat analytics
• Knowledge of scripting languages, regular expressions, and security certifications are preferred
