Principal Data Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Analyst, Financial Modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of an Excel-based Long Range Planning model into a Python environment within Jupyter Notebooks
• Develop automated data ingestion pipelines for cloud cost and usage data from multiple providers
• Build a calculation engine for multi-year cloud spend forecasts and implement a versioning and variance analysis framework

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline
• 5+ years in financial modeling, FP&A, or cloud economics roles
• 3+ years of hands-on Python / Jupyter financial modeling experience
• Proficiency with Git, including code review in a team environment
• Strong understanding of cloud cost & usage data and variance analysis techniques
