Principal Data Analyst

Job Summary

Owning the roadmap for strategic data products, the full-time Principal Data Analyst will enhance and maintain data solutions that drive business decision-making while collaborating with engineering teams and supporting a wide range of data analysis functions remotely from any U.S. location.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the development and enhancement of data products to ensure alignment with approved architecture patterns and governance
• Collaborate with centralized assets and engineering teams to support business banking analytics and perform ad-hoc analyses
• Implement disaster recovery, data security policies, and optimize ETL processes for performance enhancement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five years of progressive experience in data analysis or a related position
• Experience in designing, testing, and deploying ETLs and performing root cause analyses
• Proficiency in building Spark applications for data extraction and transformation
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem components and implementing data security solutions
