Principal Data Analyst
Job Summary
Leading a team of data analysts, the remote Principal Data Analyst will support large-scale Medicaid healthcare systems implementations, conversions, integrations, and reporting initiatives while serving as both a technical lead and subject matter expert.
Key responsibilities
- Mentoring data analysts and performing complex data analysis using SQL and healthcare data models
- Creating and maintaining data mapping documents, interface specifications, and testing artifacts
- Collaborating with technical and business teams to define requirements and deliver projects on schedule
Required qualifications
- Ten or more years of experience in data analysis, data integration, or business systems analysis
- Seven or more years of experience using SQL for complex relational data analysis
- Five or more years of experience in a highly regulated healthcare environment, such as Medicaid or Medicare
- Experience with large-scale system implementation or modernization projects
- Demonstrated ability to produce source-to-target mappings and interface specifications
