Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Architect to drive the vision, strategy, and governance of cloud-native data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise data architecture roadmap aligned with business and technology strategy
• Own the reference architecture for enterprise-scale data platforms and establish enterprise standards for data management
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data platforms support analytics, machine learning, and compliance needs

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture or related technical leadership roles
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS cloud architecture with a focus on serverless and data lakes
• Proven experience architecting enterprise-grade data platforms with technologies like Snowflake and Dremio
• Demonstrated success applying the AWS Well-Architected Framework in analytics-heavy domains
• Mastery of infrastructure-as-code principles, preferably with AWS CloudFormation or CDK
