Principal Data Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Architect to design and lead the development of enterprise data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a long-term vision for enterprise data architecture, aligning it with business priorities
• Design and implement a unified semantic layer and enterprise conceptual data model for analytics and reporting
• Define standards for data governance, quality, and access control while collaborating with various teams to evolve the data stack

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead role
• Deep understanding of enterprise data modeling and dimensional modeling practices
• Proficiency in data pipeline and modeling tools, as well as modern cloud data platforms
• Hands-on experience with knowledge graphs, metadata layers, and lineage tracking tools
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
