Job Summary

Defining and driving the technical vision for CloudBlue's data and insights platform, the full-time remote Principal Data Architect will architect machine learning systems, lead data architecture design, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex data challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and design machine learning systems for processing real-time data points, ensuring high performance and low latency
• Drive architectural decision-making for data and ML systems, ensuring scalability and statistical soundness
• Mentor Senior Data Scientists and ML Engineers, promoting best practices in statistical rigor and MLOps

Required qualifications

• Degree in a STEM field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, and Data Science
• Proven experience in designing and deploying large-scale, distributed data systems
• Strong expertise in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data science libraries
