Principal Data Architect

Job Summary

To support the design and evolution of scalable AWS-based data architecture, the full-time Principal Data Architect will manage multi-tenant SaaS data models, bridge operational and analytical data needs, and leverage AI tools while working remotely or in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize AWS data architecture across operational, analytical, and lakehouse layers
• Lead technical design discussions and establish best practices for data modeling and pipeline design
• Support enterprise-grade DataOps practices, including automated data quality checks and observability

Required qualifications

• Deep expertise in modern AWS-based data architectures and multi-tenant SaaS databases
• Hands-on experience with AWS data technologies such as Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift
• Experience with complex healthcare data structures and strong understanding of compliance requirements
• Advanced knowledge of AWS governance and cross-account data sharing
• Proficiency in data engineering tools and languages, including Python and SQL
