Principal Data Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and modernization of the enterprise data ecosystem, the full-time Principal Data Architect will shape a modern data foundation while managing data architecture roadmaps and implementing sophisticated data models in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise data architecture roadmap to ensure scalability and alignment with business strategy
• Design and implement data models that support various business initiatives including commerce and customer lifecycle
• Build and optimize secure data pipelines integrating multiple enterprise systems into a unified environment

Required Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in enterprise data engineering, architecture, or platform ownership roles
• Proven expertise in Snowflake and SQL Server, including schema design and workload optimization
• Advanced SQL capability with experience optimizing large, complex workloads
• Strong experience with Power BI enterprise deployments, including governance and semantic layer design
• Hands-on experience with modern ELT tooling and orchestration tools like dbt and Airflow
