Principal Data Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of advanced data ecosystems, the full-time remote Principal Data Architect will focus on cloud data management, data warehousing, and IoT ingestion pipelines using Databricks and other cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Databricks-driven enterprise data warehousing, lakehouse, and business intelligence systems
• Build scalable IoT and stream ingestion pipelines utilizing Azure Hub and related technologies
• Implement information lifecycle management from data ingestion to archiving and enforce global data governance practices

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Databricks, including optimized spark pipelines and delta lakes
• Experience with cloud ecosystems, specifically Azure or AWS, including relevant IoT infrastructure
• Deep expertise in enterprise data warehousing and business intelligence tools
• Proven ability to manage structured and unstructured data assets through effective data modeling
• Extensive background in end-to-end data management principles and data lifecycle execution
