Principal Data Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a Principal Data Architect with deep Snowflake expertise, the full-time remote position will design and evolve scalable data architectures, enforce data governance, and translate architectural decisions into commercial trade-offs for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable Snowflake-based data architectures incorporating medallion and lakehouse patterns
• Architect and implement data governance and security frameworks for sensitive and regulated datasets
• Lead integration design across the ingestion stack and collaborate with Azure data platform teams

Required qualifications

• Deep, hands-on Snowflake architecture experience; SnowPro Advanced: Architect certification strongly preferred
• Proven track record designing medallion/lakehouse patterns at enterprise scale
• Strong Azure data-platform experience, including knowledge of Azure SQL source systems
• Expert-level understanding of data governance and security frameworks
• Familiarity with modern ingestion tools such as Fivetran, CData, dbt, and Snowpark
