Principal Data Architect

Job Summary

To support major client data initiatives, the full-time Principal Data Architect will design and implement end-to-end data architectures, collaborating with client teams and integrating data platforms into broader applications while working remotely within Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end data architectures for client initiatives
• Build and implement systems from initial design to production, ensuring ongoing evolution of the platform
• Collaborate with client teams and engineers to integrate data solutions and present work in weekly demos

Required qualifications

• A Computer Science degree
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with a focus on large, complex systems
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data pipelines, particularly Snowflake, AWS, and S3
• Experience designing data architectures and producing clear documentation
• Proven hands-on engineering skills and ability to lead implementations end-to-end
