Principal Data Architect

Job Summary

To shape the architectural foundation of Data and Analytics capabilities, the full-time Principal Data Architect will define large-scale data architecture decisions, architect observability frameworks, and partner with teams to establish data governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define large-scale data architecture decisions for batch/streaming platforms, warehouses, and lakehouses
• Architect observability, alerting, and incident-response frameworks for data pipelines across the organization
• Partner with teams to define standards for data quality, lineage tracking, access control, and governance

Required qualifications

• 15+ years in software/data engineering or architecture with significant impact
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Expert knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience in coding, testing, and validating architecture at scale
• Proven experience architecting large-scale data warehouses or lakehouses
