Principal Data Architect
Job Summary
Leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives, the contract Principal Data Architect will work remotely to modernize legacy data systems into scalable cloud-native ecosystems, design data architectures using Snowflake and other cloud technologies, and build data pipelines while ensuring data governance and quality.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data architectures and build real-time and batch data pipelines integrating various data sources
- Lead the migration of SAP BI/BW environments and develop analytical applications using SAP BW and related tools
- Establish data governance, security, and performance optimization strategies across cloud platforms
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data, analytics, and cloud transformation initiatives
- Proficiency in Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, Spark, and ETL/ELT frameworks
- Experience with SAP BW, SAP BI, and data modeling
- Demonstrated leadership in large-scale modernization and analytics programs
