Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with a diverse team, the full-time remote Principal Data Engineer will design and develop enterprise data solutions, lead client discussions to recommend technical solutions, and code modern solutions to complex data challenges leveraging cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting-edge enterprise data solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Lead discussions with clients to recommend technical solutions for various business cases
• Collaborate with teammates, providing feedback and encouraging innovation and best practices

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in cloud/data analytics, specifically with Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Data Services
• Extensive experience with visualization tools, particularly Power BI, and knowledge of PBI to Fabric migration
• Experience in machine learning, including predictive/prescriptive analytics using R or Python
• Proficiency in development and scripting, including CI/CD methodology and tools like PowerShell and Terraform
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders across various industries
