Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee development of analytics databases, data lakehouses, and data warehouses
Design and implement data integration strategies for data solutions
Mentor a team of data engineers and architects, collaborate with other functional leads, and contribute to proposal development

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field with 8+ years of experience in ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse development
Experience managing enterprise-level data solutions and working in Agile environments
Ability to analyze source data, implement data governance rules, and ensure data security best practices
Experience with SQL and/or SQL-based languages, data modeling, and data security safeguards
Nice-to-have qualifications include familiarity with Large Language Model integration and experience with NoSQL databases
