Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to drive the design, development, and implementation of data infrastructure and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes
• Lead the development of real-time data streaming solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka and Apache Flink
• Oversee data governance policies and ensure data quality across the organization

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of genomic concepts and terminology
• 6+ years of experience working with professional scrum teams
• 4+ years of experience using Git versioning control
• 3+ years of experience designing and indexing relational databases
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer, data, math, or life sciences or equivalent work experience
