Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer (remote).

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business users and technology teams to create innovative data solutions
Optimize BI dashboard quality and establish best practices
Design semantic data layers for analytics and work with various teams to automate data analysis and visualization

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

5+ years of experience with Tableau, SQL, and Python
Experience in building semantic layers using tools like AtScale, dbt, and Dremio
Familiarity with data catalog tools and big data technologies such as Delta Lake and Apache Spark
Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Oracle Data Flow and Airflow
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is highly preferable
