Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to design and build their data ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build a complete data stack, including data pipelines and a centralized data warehouse
• Research and select vendors and technologies for the data platform
• Take ownership of the deployment and maintenance of data ecosystem components

Required Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering
• Proven track record of architecting and building scalable data platforms
• Extensive experience in modern data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance
• Ability to operate autonomously during the early stages of the data journey
• Experience in building relationships and influencing across engineering teams
