Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, resilient data pipelines using modern distributed systems
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines in Python and SQL, ensuring data consistency and high availability
• Integrate and manage data synchronization with key marketing systems and establish best practices for data pipeline monitoring

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of professional experience as a data engineer in high-volume e-commerce environments
• Expert level in Python and strong SQL skills with experience in modern data warehouses
• Deep expertise with distributed message queues for event-driven architecture and high-volume data streaming
• Proven experience designing complex, scalable AWS cloud data architectures
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent
