Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems, ensuring security and organization
• Collaborate with teams to understand data needs for reporting and analytics
• Develop, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL processes and PostgreSQL data warehouse systems

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA
• 5+ years of experience in on-call support for ETL jobs and database performance
• 3+ years of experience in scripting languages such as Python, SAS, or PLSQL
• 3+ years of experience with database monitoring and performance management tools
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field (preferred)
