Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer (Forward Deployed) to design and build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for analytics and AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape technology-driven data strategy and represent data engineering at the executive level
• Drive delivery of critical data initiatives and establish data engineering practices across the business unit
• Develop technical leaders and build high-performing data engineering teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in enterprise data architecture and large-scale data integration
• Extensive production experience with cloud data platforms and distributed data processing
• Demonstrable fluency with AI coding tools and experience in architecting data infrastructure for generative AI applications
• Experience in defining data strategy and leading cross-team data initiatives
