Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer/Architect, remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for data engineering efforts on public cloud for the data estate scrum team
• Design and build scalable and cost-effective public cloud native solutions based on business use cases
• Act as a tech lead, ensuring team deliverables while collaborating with product owners and delivery leads

Required Qualifications

• Engineering Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of Data Engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in Spark
• 3+ years of experience with cloud native data engineering technologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure native data technology stack and building data engineering pipelines
