Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to develop modern data infrastructure and build an analytical data and AI platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Snowflake solutions, including ETL/ELT data pipelines and data models
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design secure and efficient data systems
• Mentor junior engineers and define engineering standards across the data ecosystem

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or cloud data architecture
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and security
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques
• Experience with ETL/ELT orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory and dbt
• 5+ years of experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
