Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Data Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and models to support data-driven decision-making
• Develop and automate large scale data processing systems for business growth and product improvement
• Analyze data sets to identify trends, gaps, and inconsistencies, and contribute to data quality initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least five years of progressive experience in software or application development
• Minimum three years of experience in data engineering, including managing data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python, AWS (S3, SQS, SNS), ETL processes, GitHub, Scala, Java, and Spark
• Experience with data modeling and analytics product design
