Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data-driven environment, the full-time Principal Data Engineer will design and build scalable data integration and storage systems, focusing on data architecture and quality while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Shape technology-driven data strategy and represent data engineering at the executive level
• Drive delivery of critical data initiatives and establish best practices for data integration across the business unit
• Develop technical leaders and build high-performing data engineering teams while fostering a collaborative culture

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in enterprise data architecture and large-scale data integration
• Extensive production experience with cloud data platforms and distributed data processing at scale
• Proven experience with AI coding tools and architecting data infrastructure for enterprise-scale applications
• Experience leading cross-team data initiatives and representing data engineering at the executive level
