Principal Data Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the overall delivery and support of data and AI applications, the full-time Principal Data Engineer will design and build new systems while enhancing the existing tech stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale data pipelines across various source systems and applications
• Implement machine learning best practices and optimize performance, cost, and security
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop efficient data acquisition and integration strategies

Required qualifications

• 13+ years of experience in a data engineering role, with a strong emphasis on leading teams
• Proven experience designing and deploying large-scale AI systems
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or related field
• Experience building data pipelines using Python/SQL or similar programming languages
